Vespers Team Dinner Responses
Thanks to all that were able to be with us for our Vespers Team Dinner last month, and for the specific gifts that you brought to the team. We're still receiving great feedback from our discussion and time together at the Urban Cabin. Here's some of your honest input that we captured during and after our time together...
Thanksgiving (A few quotes from the group…)
- "The welcome and acceptance I receive and feel at Vespers is so real."
- "When I attend Vespers, I notice a deep Biblical focus and rootedness to history."
- "I love that the service helps me slow down, be still and reflect. Vespers is a great way to end the week as well as to begin the week."
- "God called us to pray for those in need of jobs and now we’ve seen 4-5 people receive jobs."
- "I get an opportunity to meet with my pastor periodically for coffee and prayer. Where else would that happen?"
- "I've seen those in abundance give generously to those with financial needs."
- "Vespers is a safe place for kids to have fun, meet other kids and learn about the Bible."
Let us know how you see yourself exercising your gifts and passions as we seek to love Sacramento together.
Our Monday (Curtis Park) City Group is combining with our Tuesday (Mid-Town) City Group and moving to Wednesdays!
Make the move with us....and join us Wednesday, March 21st at 7:00 pm for PIE NIGHT @ the Smith's home (8401 Denison Court 95829). Please bring any pie(s) you like to share. We will also choose a book we want to be discussing in our time together on Wednesdays. Save the date and invite friends.
